5-9-15

It's been a busy 48 hours for Madison, she competed in the 800 on Friday night and then we loaded up in the car and drove to Utah for Clogging Nationals.  At districts Madison got 6th & ran 4 seconds faster than her personal record. We are so proud of her!  Last year at this time of year she was in a boot & had a hard time walking because she had multiple stress fractures in her leg.  Not only has she recovered and conditioned but she was determined to not let an injury last year slow her down.  She wanted to come back this year stronger and that is exactly what she did.  She is super excited to get stronger and faster every year. She qualified to run the 800 & mile at districts but chose to run only the 800 this year.  She wanted to place in the top 5 to go to districts but was passed in the last 100 meters. It crushed her for a moment but she is doing well now. She had a great PR and will be even stronger next year. Plus she should run the mile and 800 next year.
