New Events
So much has been happening. Greta has been doing great with her head pain. Unfortunately that means she has cut out of her life anything that causes the pain or causes her to feel awful for days. We go see the Neurosurgeon on Nov. 9th, next Friday. She ran at Cross Country districts, first race she felt up to running and was able to finish. It was great, she did great. She had a 3 min. PR and was so happy she was able to run it. She also spent a good portion of her sheep money from Canyon County Fair and paid for our horse Barbie, now her horse Barbie, to go to a trainers. Barbie came home yesterday and Greta plans on working with her every day. Greta is also going to her first dance tonight. She is going with her friend Hunter. It should be fun! She also talks to Grace and Meg via Facetime all the time. Last night she walked into the bathroom for a shower and said "I'm back" So strange, great and funny at the same time.
Wil had a great cross country season and ended up with the 2nd fastest time at the KMS on record. He won a few races and received 7th at districts. He is now playing basketball, is done playing baseball. Last night him and Ava laid in my bed until they fell asleep. They had a lot of fun playing games and talking. When Wil got up to take a shower Ava said "Remember to come back Wilbur". And he said "I'll be right back Bava."
Ava is doing good, she has been sick a lot the past few weeks. She is loving basketball and ran the KHS cross country Every Body Run race with Sydney and I. She is my snuggle buddy and wants to snuggle every night. Some nights we snapchat Madison before going to sleep.
Jaxon is working out 1-2 times a day and has a lot of muscle. lol. Several of the girls are impressed. Natalie form the cross country team came up and asked if she could touch his biceps. It is so funny. He is also going to the dance tonight. Last weekend a girl from Rexburg asked him to got to a dance with her so he drove to Rexburg and went on a date, met her family and took her to the dance. He had a lot of fun. Aunt Linda let him stay at her house.
Madison is enjoying college. She is doing really good academically and is working on getting back to running. She has a tear in her abductor tendon, they think it happened when she got her stress fracture in the spring. She has been in pain for the past 6 months and is happy to know what is wrong and that they are fixing it. The gave her an injection into the tendon 10 days ago and she is 60% better. She is supposed to take next week off also and call the doctor on Thurs or Fri. if she is still at 60% or pain is increasing, if it is then she will have another injection that causes bleeding in the tendon and then they will inject dextrose (sugar water) into the tendon to cause it to recognize the injury and heal it properly.
Paul is very busy with football playoffs and the state tournaments. He has trained Wil and Jaxon to work for him. Wil went out of town with him today, they are headed to Moscow, ID. His braces are doing well and it looks like we won't need to pay for jaw surgery, that is a huge relief.
We have been blessed so much lately. Money has been super tight, to many places for it to go. But there has been so many other things. So many prayers answered. I can't think of them all right now but the one on my mind this morning is that I prayed a few weeks ago for Madison to have a good support system at College that Heavenly Father would watch over her and have her taken care of because I was feeling way to worn out and was barely conquering things on the home front and the needs at home. She has shared several things with me about her friends, bishop, and institute director lately that completely warm my heart and feel me with gratitude. She is growing spiritually, academically and just in general. It is wonderful to see her flourish. Even in the midst of Chaos she feels being at college and living on her own she recognizes all the wonderful things happening in her life and the blessings she is receiving.
