On Jan. 18-19th we went skiing with family. My cousin Adam and his son Westley and my cousin Abby and her daughter Harper flew in with my Aunt JoLeta and Uncle Duane. We went skiing and had a great time. My kids loved playing with Harper and Westley. Jaxon and Westley couldn't stop hugging when they said goodbye. These pics are just of my kids skiing unfortunately. While they were skiing on Sat. Harper and Westley were in ski school. Madison, Jaxon, and Greta learned to ski last year, the last weekend of the season. Halfway down on Sat. I turned to my dad (who was helping me with the four kids) and told him that I was thinking 1:00 ski school would be in order. They were all telling me they didn't know what they were doing etc.. After they got to the bottom though they had all decided they remembered and Wil had decided that he loved skiing. We had bought Wil a little back pack thing that had a handle on it that we could grab and reposition him at any time. He started telling his grandpa and I half way through the day that he was going to do it all alone and not to touch him. He also started telling everyone he passed "Bye". It was really cute.
They did great and we had a lot of fun. Everyone but Madison had clips on their skis that helped hold the tips in the right position. Jaxon's clip broke after lunch and the lodge was sold out so after being the first child down the slope all day he decided he could not ski anymore. No persuading or pushing from myself or grandpa could convince him otherwise so he spent the last hour and half with Adam when his cousins got out of ski school. Madison, Greta, and Wil tried to see how many times we could get down the slope and back up before they shut down the lifts. It felt like up and down, up and down, up and down. In case you are wondering where was Paul? He had a large wrestling tournament that he had to be at in the south part of the state. He missed out on all the fun.
