Tonight we had FHE on the fundamentals of a testimony and then gospel principles that branch out from there, that we also develop testimonies for.  It went really well.  Madison described the Plan of Salvation and both Madison and Jaxon explained Immorality and Eternal Life to Wil and Greta.  They all really participated and explained why or how you would have/develop a testimony about different gospel principles.  I am so proud of what an example Jaxon and Madison are.  Wil wanted to know why adults can give long testimonies and children can't.  We explained that adults are not supposed to tell stories or give long testimonies either.  That a short explanation or experience can be related to show how our testimony was strengthened is appropriate but that is all that should be shared while bearing a testimony about a gospel principal.  I was thrilled that they all talked so much and Madison and Jaxon showed such a willingness to share their own insights with their younger siblings. 

Ava is sick today but we have finally gotten her congestion to loosen up.  Greta has been sick to but went to school so that she could go to The Secret Garden play tryouts.  She didn't make it, I felt so sorry for her.  She was so excited it.  Jaxon has been letting both Ava and Wil play on his kindle fire and really being a considerate big brother.  Madison seems to be struggling with knowing when not to say things recently.  It was great to see her interact with her younger siblings tonight in a positive way.  They really look up to her.  We are in to watching the tv series Beauty and the Beast now and we all wanted to keep watching but needed to go to bed.  Silverton has hurt his leg and is lame right now.  We moved him into a pasture with Babe and I am hoping that his leg heals quickly.  I better go to sleep now.
