Today was fast and testimony meeting.  My kids did awesome with fasting today, they all made it for the two whole meals.  Ava had snacks during church but I don't expect a three year old to have to fast.  We fasted that everyone sick in our family could get well soon and that we could have a reprieve from all this sickness. Wil bore his testimony today and did a great job.   He did almost forget to say "In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen."  He said "In the name.." and then "Uh..ya" and went to sit down.  Bro. Farris whispered "Amen" and then he remembered and turned around and finished.  It was super cute and he gave a very thoughtful testimony.  He told me that he tries to really think while he is up there about what he should be saying. I also loved when he said that he knew that Joseph Smith translated the Book Of Mormon into English.  He is such a smart boy.  Paul has a rule that he won't go up with the kids, they have to able to say their testimony on their own.  So when Wil was little and wanted to go up every week he would ask his big sister Madison, who could never say no and she would go help him.  I just thought of that and wanted to write it down before I forgot again.  Angela Leatham used to comment that she wanted her boys to grow up around a family like that, where the big sister would be willing to help her little brother with his testimony.
