5-10-08 Dancing Performance

Madison & Greta had their final dance performance on Sat. May 10th. They did such a great job and it was a lot of fun to watch them. Greta danced ballet and Madison clogging.

Greta fell off the ladder of a tall slide the night before and was taken to the doctor on Sat. (Her and a friend were both at the top of the slide and had balls in their shirts. They thought it would be fun to bump tummies at the top but Greta lost her balance and fell to the ground) They couldn't find anything wrong in the x-rays but put a splint on her arm anyway. The doctor asked for her to have another set of x-rays a week later and her regular doctor found that she had a dislocated fracture. Her doctor proceeded to call an orthopedic surgeon to ask his advice and was told that because of the timespan and that the arm was healing correctly to leave it in the splint and sling for another two weeks and then follow up with more x-rays. Our family doctor also told us that she ordered the original x-rays and that the fracture was visible in them. She is doing great and hopefully will not have a splint or anything by the end of the week. More dancing photos: Click Here
